Description

Blue blossoms linger on a golden ground, a small garden kept for another season.

This rectangular Zenette compact gathers teal-blue, yellow, and softly coloured flowers among green leaves and pale curling outlines. Its warm golden-yellow lid is framed by a narrow gold-tone border, while the reverse carries an irregular network-like pattern.

A rectangular mirror faces a hinged inner powder cover with fine parallel ridges. The cover is marked Zenette and Made in England. Confirmed by the seller as new old stock, this is an unused vintage example rather than a newly manufactured compact, with very minimal age wear from its years in storage. A puff and slip pouch accompany it, as confirmed by the seller; their originality is not independently established.
