Description

A scattering of tiny flowers, gathered around a medallion like a garden seen through a gilded window.

This round Stratton compact pairs a cream-coloured lid with small multicoloured flowers and delicate gold-coloured scrolls. A central floral medallion sits within an ornamental outline, echoed by the surrounding pattern. Its polished gold-tone border frames the decoration, while the reverse carries a fine repeating texture.

Inside are a circular mirror, powder compartment, and hinged retaining ring. The Stratton name is visible near the hinge. A removable mesh sifter with a pink fabric border accompanies the compact; its originality to this example is unconfirmed.

The photographs show light scratches and rubbing to the metal, with small dark marks around the powder-compartment edge and hinge. A small irregular area of finish loss is visible on the pale powder-well surface, along with scattered specks. The supplied sifter’s pink border shows discolouration and wear. These localised details are disclosed alongside the seller’s minimal overall wear assessment. Please study the close-ups carefully; no pristine or unused condition is claimed.

A floral vanity treasure for a keeper drawn to intricate patterns and the quiet ceremony of a compact opened in the hand. Photographic props are not included. Carefully nestled in its treasure coffin, a vault relic from Vaen’kai Vault.
