Description

Red blossoms and curling leaves gather on gold, a bright little garden with its history beneath.

This round Zenette powder compact carries red and orange flowers among green and teal foliage on a warm golden-yellow ground. Pale outlines trace the petals and scrolling stems, framed by a narrow gold-tone rim. The reverse has a repeating lace-like floral pattern, with wear more apparent on this underside than on the decorative lid.

Inside, a circular mirror faces a hinged powder cover worked with concentric rings. A band across the cover bears the Zenette name and Made in England wording, providing the maker identification and origin marking. No precise production date or lid-decoration technique is claimed.
