Description

A single orange bloom opens against white, all flame-coloured petals and a sun-bright heart.

This vintage Stratton powder compact lets one bold flower fill its circular lid. Orange and deep red strokes give the petals their graphic rhythm, gathered around a yellow-green centre on a clean white ground. A narrow gold-tone surround frames the design without competing with it.

Inside, a mirror sits in the lid above the powder compartment. The reverse offers a second detail to enjoy: a repeating pattern of small stars around the Stratton, Made in England mark. Its simple round form provides a quieter counterpoint to the richly scalloped compacts in the cabinet.

New old stock describes its unused status rather than a promise of a flawless finish. The photographs show age-related surface marks, darkened areas, and wear to the gold-tone finish around the rim, clasp, and reverse. Please study the close-ups as part of the condition description. No precise manufacture date or botanical species is claimed.

A bright little vanity relic, gathered for a keeper who likes a flash of colour among the shadows. Carefully nestled in its treasure coffin, a vault relic from Vaen’kai Vault.
