Description

Shell, set in a measured grid, catches the light with a quiet iridescence.

This round powder compact is fitted with a geometric mosaic of mother-of-pearl panels on the lid, framed by a gold-tone metal case. The reverse has a cross-hatched finish, and the hinge is stamped “Regent of London, Made in England.” It opens to a mirror and powder compartment.

It presents neatly at first glance, but close inspection shows age-related wear to the metal, including darkened marks and wear to the gold-tone finish along the edges and inner rim. For accuracy, this is described as used rather than new or unused. The compact comes without a puff, sifter, slip or case. Please use the photographs to judge the finish and condition.
