Vintage Sterling Silver Orb Photo Locket Necklace, Six Folding Frames, Hinged Spherical Pendant

Closed, this vintage locket forms a polished orb, its rounded halves meeting around a stack of narrow circular rims. Shaped outer fittings curve over the sphere, with pierced and grooved details adding a little mechanical intrigue. Opened, the compact form unfolds into a sequence of six circular photo-frame sections, turning a pendant into a miniature personal archive.

A 925 stamp is visible on the inside of one outer fitting, supporting the pendant’s identification as sterling silver. The accompanying rectangular-link chain bears a STERLING stamp at the clasp end and fastens with a spring-ring clasp. No maker, exact production date, or country of manufacture is assigned. The chain is included, but its original association with the pendant is unconfirmed.
