Description

A little pool of brilliant blue, edged in cool metal and small enough to feel like a secret.

This vintage AGME mini powder compact gives its small format a vivid presence. The bright blue enamel lid reveals fine linear and crosshatched texture beneath its colour, framed by a shaped silver-coloured border with short ribbed sections. The reverse carries a similarly fine woven-looking texture, keeping the decoration tactile rather than pictorial.

Inside, a circular mirror faces the powder compartment. The seller’s notes identify the markings as AGME and Made in Switzerland, with the interior mark shown near the hinge. Its jewel-like colour and neat proportions make it a charming contrast to larger, more ornate vanity pieces.

The close-ups show fine scratches and small marks on the metal surfaces, rubbing and localised loss of the silver-coloured finish around the hinge and interior rim, and darker discolouration around the powder-compartment edge. Small surface marks are also visible on the blue lid. These details are disclosed alongside the overall condition assessment; please study the photographs carefully. No precise manufacture date is claimed.
