This Shipton & Co pendant is one of them. The British heritage jewellers have been making considered, beautifully crafted silver since the 19th century, and this starburst pendant carries that lineage in every line. At its centre sits a deep oval lapis lazuli cabochon, the kind of blue that does not waver: dense, denim-dark, with the quiet gravity of a stone that has been prized since antiquity. Around it, a geometric starburst border radiates outward in oxidised sterling silver, each triangular section pave-set with shimmering white accent stones that catch the light in sharp, architectural flashes.

The reverse is stamped with Shipton & Co's signature S&Co maker's mark alongside the 925 hallmark. The chain is a fine curb link, also fully hallmarked, closing with a spring ring clasp that functions exactly as it should. The whole set carries a beautiful natural patina, the kind that only comes with age and honest wear.
