1883 Victorian Buckle Bangle, Hallmarked, Engraved Foliage, Broad Hinged Bracelet
Description
A buckle clasped around a century’s worth of quiet stories, its engraved leaves still catching the light.
This broad Victorian bangle takes the form of a miniature belt around the wrist. A raised buckle frame and curved tongue sit over an engraved strap, with two circular hole-like details punctuating its rounded end. Fine foliage fills the decorative panels, contrasting with the simpler band that continues around the back.
Identified by Vaen’kai Vault as an 1883 example and confirmed by the seller as fully hallmarked, the bangle carries an interior stamp group photographed in close-up. The marks are not sufficiently distinct in these images for a confident independent reading of fineness, assay office, or maker. Those details remain unassigned rather than borrowed from another piece.

The bangle is photographed both open and closed. Clasp tension, wrist fit, dimensions, and weight have not yet been established in this listing. The belt-like decoration is not offered as proof of adjustable sizing.
A characterful Victorian adornment for a keeper drawn to bold silhouettes, engraved details, and silver-coloured surfaces bearing the passage of time. Photographic props are not included. Carefully nestled in its treasure coffin, a vault relic from Vaen’kai Vault.
