Vintage Stratton Silver-Plated Powder Compact, Ornate Scrollwork, Complete Boxed Set

A small silver garden, kept immaculate in its box.

A vintage Stratton powder compact with an intricately patterned silver-plated lid and base. The lid is covered in flowing foliate scrollwork around a small central medallion, its bright relief set against the cool silver finish. Turn it over and the base reveals a fine, closely lined texture with the Stratton mark at the centre.

Inside, the compact opens to a mirror and its original presentation pieces: Stratton-branded puff, sifter and slip. The original box is included too. The retained “SILVER PLATED Lid & Base” label confirms the finish on both halves; this is silver plate, not solid sterling silver.

Described by its owner as brand new and complete, with no damage or visible age wear to the compact or included pieces. This is an unusually well-preserved set for the dressing table or a Stratton collection. No powder is included.
