Description

A little silver-coloured secret suspended on a chain, its striped face concealing a dressing-table ritual.

This Swedish powder-box necklace bridges adornment and vanity. Fine parallel lines run across its oval case, alternating in narrow bands that catch the light with quiet precision. A generous suspension ring and linked chain give the small box the presence of a pendant rather than a conventional handheld compact.

Open the case and an oval mirror is revealed, together with a hinged inner cover above the powder compartment. The photographs show the cover both closed and lifted, making the layered construction part of the piece’s fascination. Jewellery on the outside, a miniature vanity object within.
