Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Red Garnet & Pearl Linked Necklace, Marquise Settings, Excellent
Description
Garnets have always understood something that other stones do not: that red, worn correctly, is not loud. It is a declaration made quietly, to the right people.
This necklace knows exactly what it is. Faceted marquise-cut red garnets, each one cradled in an open silver bezel, alternate with round freshwater pearls suspended on their own short drops, the whole thing moving in a rhythm that feels less like jewellery design and more like a sentence written in two languages at once. Dark and light. Fire and cool. The silver has aged into a natural oxidised depth that makes the garnets burn darker and the pearls glow warmer, the way old things do when they have been worn and loved and worn again.
It closes with a spring ring clasp and sits at the collarbone with exactly the right weight for something that has been waiting this long to be found.
