Art Deco Frosted Pink Glass Scent Bottle Set, Melon-Ribbed Bottle with Flower Stopper and Geometric Pyramid Stopper, Likely Czechoslovakian, c.1920s-1930s

A matched pair of Art Deco frosted pink glass scent bottles, offered together as a set: a melon-ribbed globular bottle with a moulded flower stopper, and a companion geometric pyramid stopper or small bottle in the same frosted blush-pink glass. Both pieces are in the same satin-frosted finish — the surface acid-etched or satin-treated to produce a soft, velvety matte texture — and in a consistent warm blush-pink throughout.

The bottle is a compressed globular or melon form with vertical ribbing running around the full circumference, the ribs creating a clean lantern silhouette, the shoulders rounded and the neck short and straight. The stopper is a moulded flower or bloom form: individual petals radiating from a central point, the petal edges well-defined and crisp. The flower stopper is a signature Art Deco perfume bottle convention.

The companion piece is a geometric double-pyramid or obelisk form: four triangular facets meeting at a central ridge, the form entirely angular and abstract — a direct contrast to the soft curves of the bottle body and a demonstration of the period's fascination with both organic and machine-age forms within the same aesthetic vocabulary.

No maker's marks are present on either piece. The combination of frosted pink glass, moulded flower stopper, geometric companion form, and pressed construction is consistent with Czechoslovakian export glass production of the 1920s to 1930s, which dominated the international perfume bottle market during this period.
