Vintage Stratton Powder Compact, Gold-Tone Star Motif, Round Case, New Old Stock with Finish Damage
Description
A scattering of stars across a golden disc, a pocket-sized sky with time written into its surface.
This vintage Stratton powder compact sets stars of differing sizes across a warm gold-tone lid. Some are outlined, others more finely worked, giving the simple circular form a lively celestial rhythm. The reverse carries a denser repeating star pattern, making the decoration something to enjoy on both sides.
Inside, a mirror sits above a hinged inner powder cover with Stratton branding and fine linear decoration. The compact is recorded by the seller as new old stock, but its unused status sits alongside visible age-related finish damage. Those changes are part of the listing, not hidden behind the NOS designation.
