Vintage Mother of Pearl Wallet, Floral Shell Coin Purse, Red Concertina Interior, Kiss Clasp
Description
A little pocket of moonlight, opening onto scarlet.
Genuine mother of pearl gives this vintage wallet its luminous character, the shell shifting through cream, rose, green, and silvery blue as the light moves across its surface. Rounded rectangular panels sit within a silver-tone metal frame, with small blue and pink floral motifs decorating one face and the reverse left to the shell's own rippling pattern.
The twin-knob kiss clasp opens to a vivid red concertina interior, with divided sections and folded side gussets. More a small framed coin purse than a modern folding wallet, it brings together the softness of floral decoration and the striking contrast of pale shell against red.

Close-up photographs show fine surface lines and small marks on the shell, together with wear, cracking, and localised loss in the coloured floral decoration. The frame has scratches, dark spotting, and uneven surface wear around the clasp, hinge, and inner edges. The red interior shows creasing, rubbing, and worn edges, with pale backing visible along the divider tops and some loose fibres. These details are part of this example's condition rather than a pristine finish.
The wallet is photographed open and closed. Clasp holding strength and hinge security have not been independently tested. Dimensions have not been established, so compatibility with modern cards or unfolded banknotes is not promised.
For the collector who prefers their everyday treasures touched by a little iridescence. Carefully nestled in its treasure coffin, a vault relic from Vaen’kai Vault.
