Description

Two bright birds keep company on a branch, their small world framed in warm golden curves.

This vintage mini Stratton powder compact sets a pair of birds against a deep blue ground. Yellow breasts, green-blue wings, and contrasting pale cheeks give the scene a lively presence, with slender leafy branches completing the illustration. The scalloped gold-tone case lends its miniature format a richly ornamental outline.

Inside, a mirror sits in the lid above a hinged inner powder cover bearing Stratton branding. The patterned reverse provides another detail to enjoy when the compact is turned in the hand. A sifter, branded puff, and slip accompany the piece, as confirmed in the seller’s notes.

New old stock describes its unused status, not a flawless storage condition. The close-ups show small surface marks on the blue lid and wear and discolouration to the gold-tone finish, including a conspicuous patch on the reverse. These age-related changes are disclosed separately from use. Please study the photographs carefully. No precise manufacture date or original-accessory provenance is claimed.

A miniature winged vanity relic, gathered for a keeper who notices the small things. Carefully nestled in its treasure coffin, a vault relic from Vaen’kai Vault.
