Stratton Mini Powder Compact, Floral Lid, Original Case, New Old Stock

A little floral relic, kept complete in its own original case.

This mini Stratton powder compact wears a scalloped, pale lid decorated with roses, a yellow flower and green leaves. The floral design is signed, though the name is not clear enough in the photographs for a confident attribution. Its gold-tone frame surrounds the illustrated lid, while the reverse carries the Stratton name and a registered-design mark. Inside are a mirror and powder well.

Offered as new old stock. The compact comes with its original case and complete accessory set, as confirmed by the owner. It has the quietly special feeling of a dressing-table piece preserved together with its small fittings. Please see the photographs for the compact, case and accessories.
