The azurite brings a deep, saturated cobalt and royal blue, the chrysocolla contributes teal and verdigris green, and the matrix between them carries warm amber-brown tones from the surrounding ironstone. In this particular cabochon there are also areas of faint iridescence suggesting trace inclusions of malachite or native copper. The colours shift as the stone moves in light. The bail is a simple folded triangular form, understated and proportionate to the pendant weight.
