Description

Leaves curl across a silver belt, a small flourish to fasten around the wrist.

This vintage buckle bangle pairs a broad band with richly engraved foliate scrolls. A shaped buckle frame, its outer edge softly scalloped, opens away from the decorated front. Circular strap details and a raised tongue complete the belt-like design, while the plainer rear section gives the ornament space to stand out.

The Vault dates this example to 1963. The photographed interior bears a maker’s stamp appearing to read MK LTD alongside hallmark punches, including an anchor-shaped mark and a lion passant consistent with sterling silver. The company behind the initials remains unassigned, and the 1963 date is retained from the seller’s identification rather than independently decoded from the photograph.
